# Import cloud objects

Create a new Cloud Import Job resource to import assets into Dash

## Request fields (application/json):

  - `cloudConnectionId` (string, required)
    The unique ID for the [CloudConnection](#tag/Cloud-Connections) to import files from
    Example: "e2b03444-8c5d-44ed-bd9f-7eee882bdf81"

  - `selector` (any)

  - `keepFolderStructure` (boolean, required)
    Whether to maintain the source folder structure beneath the selected objects
    Example: true

  - `destinationPath` (string, required)
    The path of the folder in Dash to import the files into. Use an empty string to import to the top level.
    Example: "path/to/folder"

  - `pathMappings` (array)
    A list of [CloudObjectPathMapping]s to apply to the imported [CloudObject]s

  - `pathMappings.matchPrefix` (string, required)
    Apply mappings to [CloudObject] resources with a path that matches this prefix
    Example: "path/to/folder"

  - `pathMappings.removePrefix` (string, required)
    Remove this prefix from the path of matching [CloudObject] resources
    Example: "path/to/"

  - `pathMappings.addPrefix` (string, required)
    Add this prefix to the path of matching [CloudObject] resources
    Example: "new-folder/"
